In which nic code has cover International export import business ??
Asked 6 years ago in GST

Hi,

There is no NIC code in GST. It's called HSN/ SAC code.

Your hsn/sac code will depend upon the product you are importing and exporting. Kindly let us know the product

There are two different things NIC code and HSN/ SAC code.

NIC code is used by government to differentiate the business under udhyog Aadhar.

Whereas HSN/SAC code are used by GST to identify your business.

So first you need to say what goods are you going to export import or in which goods you will trade then only we can help you.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

As far as my research goes the NIC code 47 which was for retailer or e commerce person has been banned from last year and I don't think there is any alternative to that.

Regarding your query of HSN code for imitation jewellery it is 7117 and manufacture of handicrafts goods is covered under 9988.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you

I think your PAN card Aadhar card and additionally your GST registration would be enough to get current bank account. I don't think they require anything else. You can reach out to HDFC bank I don't think they require anything else.
