I provide private tution in lucknow. How can I file my ITR?
Asked 6 years ago in Income Tax

Dear Sir,

Hope you are doing well !!

If tuition is your only profession then Income from tuition will be your main source of income and taxable under the head Income from Business/Profession. However, if you are in receipt of any other main source of income like salary income, house property income or income from other business and in addition to this you are giving tuition, then such tuition income will be taxable under the head “Income from other Sources.

We may help you in filing return.

If the amount is not big you must show it as income from other sources. By the way what's your total receipt? Is it above 250000?

If you need any help in filing ITR do contact me. You just need to submit few details via mail and your return will be filed.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you

It depends on your nature of income if this is your only income and you are going to show it under income from other sources then you must go ahead with ITR 1.

You should file ITR 4 if you want to go for presumptive taxation and don't want to maintain books of accounts.

If you want to go for normal taxation ,then you should file ITR 3.

Hi,

- File ITR-4 and avail the benefit of presumptive taxation scheme. You are not required to maintain books of accounts. For digital transactions, you are required to pay tax on 6% of gross receipts otherwise 8%.
