By prior period you mean income pertaining to 19-20 in 20-21? Yes you can do the same. But need to be taken care while filing annual reconciliation
You can book the same as B2C, in order to not to give credit

Thanks for the reply, Hi, My concern is that the party is registered in GST. Still can i show him as un-registered ?
If you are not passing on the credit even when you are aware about the thing it would be forgery and not passing on eligible credit would also be wrong.
Although you can show it as B2C sale but it won't be correct.
Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.
Thank you
Hi
Firstly, if you are a service provider, GST was applicable at the time of receipt as GST is applicable on advance received.
Secondly, you may enter it as a B2C sales now. But, it may lead to penalties in case of any future queries.
1. yes you can show income against debit notes of perious period sale
2. Issue only payment Reciept to register person. Show in your books Advance from customers/ register person in liability side with respect to excess money.
