• AIS Statement Feedback Related--Family Pension Shown as Salary in AIS

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a retired pensioner. This time, in my AIS, under the head of Salary, two different salaries are being shown--in first row, my regular pension is mentioned, and in the second row, my second salary is mentioned. The fact is that my second salary is my Family Pension, so, technically, it cannot come under "Salary". The values of all are fully correct, but it is about the classification. The total salary becomes higher than that being shown in the ITR. I am not talking about Form 26AS because all values are matching and there is obviously no such issue of classification with Form 26AS.
When I file the IT Return, my Family Pension will be shown in "Income from Other Sources". Only my Pension income will be shown as my Salary while filing my ITR. So, clearly, the total of my Salary in my IT Return will be less than that in my AIS/TIS statement. So, I run the risk of being issued IT dept.'s notice for that difference despite no fault of mine.
My query is: Should I give a feedback in the AIS against the second row of Salary, which is actually my Family pension? If yes, what should it be: "Information is duplicate/included in other information", or "Information is denied", or any other option, and why?
In my opinion, "Information is duplicate/included in other information" can be a better choice because it is included in "Income from Other Sources" in my ITR form, although it is not included in any other information given in the AIS statement. If I choose "Information is denied", then, the Compliance Portal will send my Feedback to the Bank or my employer which will eventually disagree with it. I cannot select "information is partially correct" because then, there is no provision of giving my input in words--one can only modify the number/value in this option.
It is a small thing but took so many words to explain it. Sorry for that!
And thank you!!
Regards,

As the amount is correct but the description/classification is not correct, select information is not fully correct and change the description

You should select "Information is not fully correct" in the AIS to address the incorrect classification of your Family Pension as Salary. This option allows you to provide a detailed explanation, stating:

"This income is Family Pension and should be classified under 'Income from Other Sources'. It is not Salary."

This ensures correct classification and helps avoid discrepancies with the IT Department.

Select "Information is fully incorrect": This is the most appropriate option since the classification of Family Pension as Salary is incorrect.
