I did not understand whether you want to claim exemption for HRA or what else. Normally gross salary including HRA is shown as salary.

yes you can declare HRA at the time of filing. you need to make a computation after considering the HRA and net income chargeable under salary need to be declared. It is exempted U/s 10.
