For Hostels & PGs for Students, and Working Professionals, we would like to clarify the following scenarios.
Our business - We take properties on Lease from the owners, and then run them as hostels under our own brand. Properties can be Residential or Commercial.
Scenario 1 - In case, we bill directly to Students or Working professional. Property type - Residential a. Does this apply to Hostels as well? b. What HSN/SAC code to be used for Rental invoices. d. Whether GST will apply in this case or not. If yes, what percentage.
Scenario 2 - In case, we bill directly to Students or Working professional. Property type - Commercial a. Does this apply to Hostels as well? b. What HSN/SAC code to be used for Rental invoices Scenario. c. Whether GST will apply in this case or not. If yes, what percentage.
